SIR Walter de Paffac, with his army, came before Convalle, and furrourided it on all fides. Having called to him the fénéfchal of Tou-loufe, he faid,—c Was this one of fir Reginald de « Montauban's castles ?' He anfwered, c that it was one/ c Then it has a fubterraneous paflage like his others/ c Aye, in God's name, truly there is one; for by means of this paflage did Efpaignolet take the castle a fécond time and the lord within it/ € Order the knight to whom it belongs, and who is with us, to come hither ; for it will be proper/ added fir Walter, « that we first get information from him/
